Addition, Sums and Addition

I was helping Nuggie with her sums. It’s a simple issue… Make strokes, count them all up and that is your answer… Right? Wrong! She preferred to freely give each of them an answer that felt good to her, not what the sums said. 4+3=7…she gets it correctly, but insists she will add one or two to it to make it 8 or 9. I calmly explained why that will not work. She argues a little, then agrees to write 7. We are still at number 1. You will think that will be the end of it right? You wish! […]

Break out and  Battles

I started experiencing break out (pimples) on my face pretty early (from age nine). I didn’t give it much thought then, but later I started using different products (soap, cleanser, cream, Apple Cider, E.t.c) to clear them off. The trucks which conveyed workers back to site were already blaring their horns loudly the break was over! […]

What is your help story?

She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls…Proverbs 31:15 I love the Proverbs 31 woman she helps me realize so much I can do as a young wife and mother; I realized the error of only having one job while reading her blueprint and lots more. I have not always been keen on the idea of house helps, I can take care of my children or rather no one can take care of my children like me, that has always been my thought, until God showed me that […]
