Holding on and Positioning to Receive

John5:1-8 I got three things from this story (Jesus and the sick man at the pool of Bethsaida). * * 1. The sick man had a reasonable excuse for not getting his healing even after 38years. The way we have a reasonable excuse for remaining where we are; no money, no long leg aka connection, the government is not paying/working well, the area where I live is not encouraging, many people are already doing the same thing, who will buy, you don’t understand my case is different… And on and on * * 2. The sick man was still there […]

Where did it originate from… Wrong foundation

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son…John 3:18 If you don’t trust, how can you believe? I struggle with this… Because I have different things bombarding my reality everyday; telling me not to trust God. One of the instances where I was praying for God to help my faith, something from my junior secondary school days came to mind. I use to be a very optimistic and positive child but I discovered that things I look forward to […]

Hardened in the waiting

There are things I have been asking for and working towards. I look around and see the reply has not manifested the way I hoped for. I didn’t stop praying, working and hoping but I came across a verse Heb4:7 that says… Harden not your heart… While thinking about the word I realised my heart was hardened. My thinking has always been, only unbelievers have hard hearts. But we all run the risk of having a hard heart, even without knowing. Just like when you push someone too long and the person rebels. I am tired of praying, trying again, all […]

the rhyme and the stubborn quest

The Rhyme and the Stubborn Quest…

I have always wanted two girls and a boy… “maybe” another boy making it four. but that will be a very unlikely probability. Three is my perfect number, That is what I always prayed for as long as I could remember. I wanted both sex but I preferred the girls to be ratio 2:1.   When I had my daughter, I changed the rhyme to two… I don’t want three anymore, just two Lord. Give me a boy next and I am okay.   During my second pregnancy, I believed it was a boy. I bought everything in blue. Gave […]

Challenges Jamboree… Withdraw or Withstand?

I knew God was wise but I know now God is wise! You know that story of the Israelite leaving for Canaan? How God took them through the longer route because He did not want them to change their mind on the way? Ehen that one! I use to read that story with a half mind… what do I know of road trip in the wilderness. They were suffering in Egypt, why will they want to go back? This was my mindset until I met some controversial people who do not care if you are doing them a favour or […]

Faith stories…

Hello……. My Laptop issue has not yet been resolved… so posting has been erratic. Hoping that will be resolved soonest. Meanwhile, here are some of the Faith stories I got… Enjoy. I remember misplacing my car keys, the car was parked behind a neighbor’s car. He had an important appointment to meet up. I searched everywhere I could but didn’t find it and I was close to tears. Suddenly my 5year old daughter ran to me holding the keys. I asked her where she got it from and she said she asked the Holy Spirit for help and opened her […]

The Revolution Has Begun!!!

I did a post recently on my upcoming book launch. Also how we should train our children to use their faith and experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit. The responses I got from all the places I shared that post amazed me. I realized parents are not relaxing. I heard different stories of children who walk by faith and who walk and hear from the Holy Spirit. It was encouraging. There are bad news everywhere, making it seem as if the battle is being lost. But we are winning people, we are not there yet but we are on […]

Fight for the Building

Today I grew my faith, my children did not go to school today, (neither did i go to work) and they were up to their usual shenanigan…as at 10am, the house was looking like a war zone and the intensity of the screams and laughter was at its peak, the baby who just recovered from a stint with cold had decided mummy’s hand is the best place for now, so my hands were full, my back ached and I was already having a headache by 10 in the morning. I had a lot to do but I was unable to […]
